LISTO’s methodology and results are shared outside Mexico’s borders
Nutresa Foundation Congress – Leading to Educate
A crowded audience of teachers and education experts were able to learn about the training and accompaniment methodology of the LISTO program through the participation of Dolores González, LISTO Director, in the XVI National Education Congress, which took place in Cali, Colombia, on May 31 and June 1.
For two consecutive days, event participants had the opportunity to share knowledge and experiences about leadership as a tool to transform the school culture and as facilitator of student learning.
Along with Dolores was the teacher José Domingo Soto García, who participated in the LISTO program in 2016, and presented his experience during his time in the program and showed the results obtained after applying the strategies to improve their indicators of school culture, which currently have a 95% confidence.
Garcia indicated that through preparation and constant coaching support, he was able to make his team aware of the areas of opportunity and focus on each student from a personal perspective. “This way, students feel safe in the educational environment of their school, like to be in it, and are served according to their needs,” he explained.
“I am very proud to be the spokesperson for a wonderful team that is transforming the lives of directors, teachers, and students,” said Dolores Gonzalez, adding with great emotion that this was the first time that LISTO has been shared outside the borders of Mexico.
