Longtime partners Worldfund and H.Stern held an event last week at the H.Stern Boutique in New York City celebrating Worldfund’s impact in education in Latin America.
Over fifty supporters attended, including Worldfund’s new Chief Operating Officer, Kirsten Evans.
Kathy Shea Westra, one of Worldfund’s longstanding board members, presented on the meaningful work that Worldfund is doing with quality education and the personal joy and satisfaction that it has brought to her.
A percentage of the proceeds from the evening benefited the three education programs from Worldfund: IAPE, LISTO and STEM Brasil, designed to inspire teachers and school directors to attain the highest standards of the profession. The programs help educators take charge of learning outcomes, engage students, and develop assignments that encourage creative problem solving. They also support and mentor educators as they embrace their vital role in society.
A warm thank you to all of our guests, Kathy, and the H.Stern staff.
