STEM Brasil ends phase 1 in Rio: Phase 2 is on its way
Congratulations to the partners of STEM Brasil in Rio de Janeiro! In August 17th, in an event held by the Secretaria de Educacao (Seduc-RJ), teachers and students got together to share experiences and to celebrate the positive feedback at the end of the program’s first phase, in 27 schools.
The new program has started in August 30th, with 37 new schools. “We are very happy with the results”, said Marcos Paim, STEM Brasil’s director. A special thanks to Leise Duarte, from Shell ‘s Social Performance area, our great partner and the program’s sponsor in Rio.
The event was held at Escola Chico Anysio and was attendend by Wagner Victer, Rio de Janeiro’s secretary of Education, as well as the Worldfund staff and Shell representatives.
