A New Chapter at Worldfund

Kelly Maurice and Cristina Gil White welcomed

It is with great pleasure that we announce Worldfund's new Executive Director, Kelly Maurice!

After a thorough vetting of a number of external candidates, Worldfund's Board of Directors came to the conclusion that the best candidate was already a Worldfund employee!

Kelly has successfully run Worldfund Brasil for six years, overseeing the development and early scaling of our STEM Brasil program, building our operations and profile, and developing a strong supporter base in Brazil. We are excited to bring her stellar leadership, strategic, and communication skills to the entire organization.

Kelly embodies the culture of Worldfund and brings continuity, both important to the sustainability of Worldfund as we head into our 14th year of operation.

We are also thrilled to announce that Cristina Gil White has joined Worldfund to serve in the newly formed position of Deputy Executive Director.

Cristina will play a leading role for Fundraising and Finance and Operations out of our New York City office.

Cristina has experience in NGO management, strategic planning, fundraising, and science research in several corporate social responsibility sectors. Most recently, Cristina was the NYC Associate Director of Philanthropy for the Latin America Conservation Region at The Nature Conservancy. Cristina brings experience in strengthening educational leadership in Latin America as the former Executive Director for Fundación EDUCA in Mexico.

Join us in congratulating what we expect to be a terrific duo, Worldfund's new leaders, Kelly and Cristina.
